Swiss Steak
Swiss steak is an old family favorite. I
season the round steak with salt and pepper and dredge it in flour to keep the
meat juicy. I placed a chopped onion in the bottom of the crock pot and topped
it with the seasoned beef. Then I added a can of diced tomatoes and a shake of
Italian Seasoning. The meat cooked on high for four to five hours.
Boil and mash some potatoes and steam some
garden fresh green beans and you have a delicious meal.
